How to Create a Wikia Account for Boosting SEO

This time around another step-by-step screencast and video transcript which explain how to create a wikia account for SEO benefits. Wikia allows you to start a website and build a community around it. Other than that, you can also place your link pointing to your site. Since Wikia.com is a PR6 (homepage) and Domain Authority 90 site, I don’t really see what should stop you from creating an account and making your backlink live within a few minutes. In case you want to make it even faster, make sure that you’re currently logged in to your Facebook account. Alternatively, you’ll be able to create a brand new Wikia.com account.

1. Go to Wikia.com
2. Click Sign up (in the upper right corner)
3. Click the Sign up with Facebook button or fill out the form for a new Wikia account
4. Click your user name (in the upper right corner)
5. Now click Edit
6. Fill in the “What’s your personal website” text box (put your URL here)
7. Click “Save, I’m done”
8. You’re good go. 🙂

In this screencast I’m gonna show you step-by-step how to create an account at Wikia.com . For starters, why would you need an account on the platform.
The point is that the PR of the platform is PR6 and Domain authority is 90.
If you place your link on this website, it’s gonna show Google that your site is a decent one and a reputable one as well.
Basically, it’s gonna transfer some Google juice from Wikia.com to your website.
So, let’s get the ball rolling.
Just click on Sign up.
Now, you’ll be able to sign up with Facebook or actually a brand new Wikia account.
I’m gonna sign up with Facebook ‘coz it’s faster.
And that’s basically what I recommend doing.
Just click the Sign up with Facebook button.
And as you can see over here, it already shows my domain name,
It means I’m already signed in.
Now, I go to my preferences.
You can specify your preferences.
Whatever you want to update here.
Your email, editing preferences, check more advanced features.
And your preferences in regards to Facebook.
Now, if I click on my account and click Edit here.
I’m able to specify my name, where I live, my birthday, and so on.
And what is more important – the MOST important! – is that you can actually specify your personal website.
And that’s gonna be the website that you want to put a link to from Wikia.com
I’m just gonna use my LastPass feature to fill out the form.
And here it puts my site address.
I’m gonna use a link to my actually blog, and that’s pretty much OK.
It just messed up the actual Twitter handle. I fix it.
Male. And I’m pretty good to go.
Yeah, and basically alternatively you can import your information from Facebook.
But I’ve already filled out the form. So, there’s no need to do it.
I click “Save, I’m done”.
Just wait a second.
And now – as you cans see – the information is populated over here.
I can just click on my website and it redirects me right to Webdesy.com/blog
So, that’s basically how you can easily create an account from a VERY reputable site.
So, again. You need it because it’s reputable and a link from such a website shows Google that you site deserves to be considered a decent one as well.
