Chances are, you’ll be flabbergasted by the SEO software that I’d like to talk about today. You may have been using all sorts of link tracking, competitor analysis, keyword monitoring and stuff like that software. Problem is, you still feel there’s something dead wrong with all that software or simply missing, right? Thing is, you can use an all-in-one online app and you can even test-drive it for 15 days totally free of charge. You’re not gonna learn just some downright platitudes about how to use the app in this post. What you ARE going to learn is how the app will rock your SEO daily workflow. So, what’s the fuss all about?
If you or your employees keep on getting spaced out or just procrastinate like crazy, you most definitely want to use workflow management software that keeps you focused and to-the-pont at all times.
Lightweight Design
The first thing that’s gonna catch your eye is that the interface of the software is extremely snappy and easy on your eyes. Though it’s not the most important feature for this kind of application, it’s still a very positive thing to have because it makes the whole experience both useful and fun.
Handy Notifications
You’ll always be in the know about what’s going on in the software because it shows you notifications about all sorts of important events so that you know when you can access certain information that was generating for you in the background. Say, you just added a new site to your account. You can check keyword monitoring or other SEO metrics for other sites while the software collects all sorts of data about your brand new site that you just added. Once all the data is available, you’ll be notified so that you can start working with the data the moment it gets in there.
Easy Reports
You may want to add both your own sites and just the sites you work for. That said, you’ll have to provide your customers with regular reports as for what is going on with their sites. You can create neat and easy to understand reports at just one click. It’s worth mentioning that such reports can get generated and be sent to the email you specified automatically. It’ll both show your clients that you keep them updated at all times and help you save a whole lot of time because the whole shebang is just quietly happening in the background.
Comprehensive and Quick Video Tutorials
One more thing that will positively surprise you is that you can easily access high-quality video tutorials that explain how to use WebMeUp. It’s very refreshing because you’ll get to know how to leverage all the features available under the hood before you know it. No steep learning curve here if any. That’s also because the whole workflow is unapologetically intuitive and you can just easily guess how things work even if you don’t really know for sure. To speed the whole thing up, check the videos which are available right here. And here’s one of the videos.
All in One Place
Odds are, you currently use a few SEO apps to do the same things that you’ll be able to do with one single tool because WebMeUp is by a long shot more feature-rich software as opposed to its competitors. It allows you to handle both your on-page and off-page SEO. What’s more, you can keep track of your social media outreach, do your keyword monitoring and tons of other things within one convenient dashboard.
Totally Customizable Interface
Like I said above, it’s a very intuitive interface by default, but should you want to customize something to even better meet your needs, you can easily do it either by tweaking your settings or just by dragging and dropping widgets around so that they fall in place as you wish them to. . The bottom line is that the location of interface elements is not cut in stone and can be nobrainerishly modified as you see fit.
In the Cloud
You may be running a few pieces of software or web apps which make your CPU go crazy and kindly ask you to burn in hell for that. You can effortlessly make your life easier with WebMeUp coz it’s one simple but still robust application that can easily replace a few of the SEO tools you may use as of now. What’s more, the whole shebang is in the cloud so you can use it with the most simple devices out there.
SEO Checklist
Keeping track of a few sites can be challenging even for experienced search engine optimization experts. Let alone a newbie. You need to set up a whole lot of things for each site when you launch it or take it over from the previous SEO guy. It’s a pretty big likelihood that you may forget to take care of a certain aspect or two. The SEO checklist allows you to always keep the overall SEO setup picture in your mind and in front of your eyes. Plus you can access your checklist (per each site you run in the app) in the lower right-hand corner.
Neat Google Analytics Integration
It goes without saying that you still need to directly login to your Google Analytics account from time to time to make the biggest use of it, but you don’t really need to do it on a daily basis, right? You also want to be able to either just take a quick look to check out the overall situation with your Google Analytics data. At all times, you just need to keep track of the most basic and crucial things, such as keyword monitoring, most popular pages and most active referrals (sites that users came from). WebMeUp allows you to do just that.
Pay as You Go
And the last but not least thing that I really like in WebMeUp is a very flexible pricing policy because you pay just for the projects (sites) and links you actually manage with the software at that particular moment. They don’t make you buy a bigger plan (for three sites or so) just because you want to add one more site to your account. You’ll be charged specifically for that one more site. That makes it really easy and cost efficient to migrate your current SEO projects from other tools.
What’s missing
All in all, you’ll like using the software, but that does not mean that there’s nothing to improve. Here’s what you may hate (or just not really like) in the web app:
- For a start, it does not have neither iPhone nor Android apps. That’s a big issue because many SEOs love doing stuff on the fly. If you’re one of them, you may speed up their decision to make such apps in this forum thread. That said, there’s a workaround that actually makes it possible to use WebMeUp on smartphones and tables. You can install a browser that supports Flash. For example, the Puffin browser. It’s available both in Google Play and App Store.
- Here’s one more thing that you may be missing. It would be really great to be able to display your Google Analytics traffic, keyword rankings and your custom event notes in one single interface. That would make it possible to see how they play together and what events caused certain changes in your overall traffic, specific keyword rankings and stuff like that.
On a side note, this feature is not available in WebMeUp’s competitors either. Though it is a mitigating factor, they still need to buckle up and not make their software just awesome but EXTREMELY awesome.
Since WebMeUp.com is a new kid on the block and they want to stand out from the crowd, it’s perfect timing to get back to them with feedback on the features that you’d like to see in the application. They may want to add the feature you suggested just to show one more time why exactly they’re better than the competition.
Bottom Line
WebMeUp is a really neat tool that can replace a few SEO apps that you use now. Since it’s a cloud-based web application, it won’t overload your computer so that you can use the most simple laptop or what not out there. Though you can find some missing features as well, they are not that burning as opposed to their competitors. Having that said, you want to at least give it a try because, chances are, you’ll fall in SEO love with the app at first sight.
Did you have a chance to use the software and see what makes the services better or worse than their competition?
