  • How to Create a Bundlr.com Account for Better SEO

    Bundlr

Bundlr.com is actually a site that offers you to keep all your bookmarks in one location. Most likely that’s what made it a pretty cool site for SEO benefits because it’s PR5 and DA53. It goes without saying that it’s not the best website that you can find in my free links screencast series, but do keep in mind that you get that link totally for FREE. So, take it or leave it. Plus creating an account on the platform is a snap because you don’t really need to CREATE it per se. Just login with your Twitter, Facebook or Google account and fill in a few things. So, if you have a few minutes to invest in improving your site rankings, what are you waiting for? (more…)

  • How to Create a Zimbio Magazine Account for SEO

    Zimbio magazine

The Ziimbio magazine is another site that you may want to use for getting a brand new and easy link from a high domain authority site. The site is basically a portal that offers all sorts of content related to celebs. So, apart from creating a link or two, you may want to browse their categories and find all sorts of news, videos, pics and what not about your favorite celebrities. You can also comment blog posts, but that’s not much value in terms of SEO because they use Facebook comments. It’s better to actually create an account and place your link there. That’s exactly what I’m gonna explain now. (more…)

  • How to Create a Wikia Account for Boosting SEO

    create a wikia account

This time around another step-by-step screencast and video transcript which explain how to create a wikia account for SEO benefits. Wikia allows you to start a website and build a community around it. Other than that, you can also place your link pointing to your site. Since Wikia.com is a PR6 (homepage) and Domain Authority 90 site, I don’t really see what should stop you from creating an account and making your backlink live within a few minutes. In case you want to make it even faster, make sure that you’re currently logged in to your Facebook account. Alternatively, you’ll be able to create a brand new Wikia.com account. (more…)

  • How to Create a SlashDot.org Account for SEO

    SlashDot logo

You want a backlink from SlashDot.org because it has Domain Authority (DA) 97. And that’s out of 100. The more links from such sites you have, the higher your own site’s domain authority will go up. Other than that, it allows you to generate more traffic if you’re actively taking part in the site’s community. Now, it’s best to not just put your backlink as I showed in my screencast (see below). It makes sense to fill out your account at maximum so that it’s as complete as possible. Doing so guarantees that your account won’t be deleted for looking too spammy. (more…)

  • Free Backlinks from Authoritative Sites

    Cool emoticon

Think you can’t get totally free backlinks from powerful sites? Let me show you how. For starters, you need to memorize that PR (Page Rank) is not the last resort. I mean it’s OK to place your link on a page that has low PR or even PR0. What you need to care about is domain authority (DA). The point is that domain authority is a site-wide or rather domain-wide metric. That means its spread across all the pages of a certain site (domain). So, if you place your free backlinks on authoritative sites, you improve your site’s profile in a very good way. That’s because you get links from INFLUENCIAL sites. Would you like a backlink from Apple.com something like that? (more…)

  • How to Repurpose Content for SEO Benefits

How to Repurpose Content for SEO Benefits

Wanna get a whole bunch of links for pretty much the same content? Let me show you how. There’s lots of posts on how to repurpose content out there, but this one is specifically how to do it as long as it makes sense for SEO. The reason why you want to repurpose content is that you can – in most cases – leave a link on the platform (site, blog, service, whatever) that you distribute your content to. Since you need just one link from each domain, it’s OK if you repurpose your content (different one) just a few times on every platform. I’m saying a few times (not once) just in case one of your links gets removed for some reason. (more…)

  • Screaming Frog Tool Review

    Screaming Frog Logo

You may be building links for your site like crazy, but if your on-page SEO is ruined, you’ll have a really hard time winning over your competitors. The other day I had a chance to use the Screaming Frog tool, which allows you to actually see what is wrong with your site in terms of on-page SEO and what exactly you need to fix on your site first thing tomorrow morning. The Screaming SEO tool also has some ‘issues’, which I’ll tackle down in the post. And one more thing. If you think that the same info is available in Google Webmaster Tools, you’re not exactly right, because it takes GWT too long – as opposed to Screaming Frog – to the date you need.

  • Why the CSS Directory Approach Sucks

3D Word CSS on yellow background

If you’re one of those SEOs who think about promoting his or her sites via submitting to CSS directories, think again. The point is that the idea of submiting sites to CSS directories sounds really good, because you just need to get a list of those directories (or just create it by searching in Google) and hit the submit button. Well, you also need to fill out all the forms and add your screenshot thumbnail, but anyway that’s not too much work compared to other methods. And that kinda sounds too good to be true. It looked like pure gold to me. But as they say, beauty is just skin-deep. (more…)
